U.S. Market Review - 15th of August 2019


 Stocks are partly stagnant today and are having hard time to find the exact location  from the steep losses in the previous session.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average were about little changed after suffering its worst day of the year on Wednesday.
The S&P 500 gained 0.3% and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.1%.
Builder confidence for single-family homes marked 66 in August, which is just higher than it was in July, according to the latest National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI).
This represents a loss from 67 in August 2018, however.
Sentiment has swayed between 64 and 66 for the past four months. Shares of General Electric slipped around 5% after Madoff whistleblower Harry Markopolos said he has discovered “an Enronesque business approach that has left GE on the verge of insolvency. ”
