USD/JPY Drops

The USD depreciated versus the JPY and the Chinese yuan.

The Chinese yuan eased versus the USD in offshore trade on Wednesday after the People's Bank of China set its official midpoint not much firmer than its previous close.

Now, the pair trades at 106.23 JPY, which is a loss 0.221 or 0.21% from the previous close of 106.459.

The trading volume is 144.097K, the daily range is from 105.93 to 106.46.China's yan also opened weaker against the USD.

Moreover, the USD slipped during yesterday’s session as the Americans named the Chinese currency manipulators.
