The GBP Depreciates

The British pound depreciated amid expectations for a last minute Brexit deal came to a dead end.

The pound slipped around 0.4% after Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party said doesn’t agree with the Brexit deal being proposed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The GBP versus the USD changes hands at 1.2792, which is a further retreat of $0.00348 or 0.27% from the previous clsoe of $ 1.28275.

The Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party stated that it couldn't accept U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson's latest proposals on Brexit.

In fact, the DUP's resistance effectively eliminates any possibilities of a deal between the EU and U.K.
