Gold Prices Fell


Gold prices retreat during the Asian hours after reports between the U.S. and China are close to a trade agreement.
The safe-haven metal lost some territory however, after the trade news were reported.
Presently, the precious metal trades at $1471.26, which is an incline of $1.63 or 0.11% from the previous close of $1469.63.
The daily range is from $1461.51 to 1471.67, while the trading volume is 112.249K.
Still however, the trade deal is still being finalized and expectations indicate that Washington will not levy additional tariffs on Chinese imports.
During this week, the focus across markets has been riveted on the trade war and how the Trump administration would proceed come Sunday.
Moreover, the yellow metal sored prior to the trade news amid some lower U.S. economic data such as higher jobless claims than initial expectations.
